Every good farm has a way of making visitors feel right at home, and today Shepherd Sam is excited to share something brand new—a welcome song created especially for all his farm friends. Together, children will learn the song one line at a time, discover a Bible connection behind the words, and hear how a simple invitation can help others come to know Jesus.

Along the way, Shepherd Sam also opens another letter from one of his young listeners, giving us a little preview of two very special farm friends you'll meet in the next episode.

So gather around, warm up your singing voice, and get ready to sing along.

Hello my friends. I'm Shepherd Sam and welcome to my farm. Baxter and I love having visitors come spend time with us. Every day is a new adventure, and we're so glad you're here. Come on, Baxter, let's go see what our farm friends are up to today. Doesn't it feel good when someone smiles and says, We're glad you're here? I know I like it. Last week we received a letter from Tommy in Tennessee. He asked if we had a Shepherd Sam's farm song. We promised that we would put on our thinking caps and make a song just for our farm friends to sing. Would you like to learn it with me? Wonderful. Now, don't worry, we're going to learn it just a little at a time. If you know the song Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, then you will hear that the Shepherd Sam welcome song sounds just like it, but with different words. Let's get started. Listen while I sing the first part, and then we'll try it together. Welcome friends, we're glad you're here. God's great love is always near. Now let's try it together. Ready? One, two, three. Welcome friends, we're glad you're here. God's great love is always near. Very good. I heard some wonderful singers. Now let's try the next part. Listen first. We will learn and we will grow. Jesus love will come to know. Now let's sing that part together. Ready? One, two, three. We will learn and we will grow. Jesus love will come to know. That sounded great. Do you know something? Every time we visit the farm, we learn something new about Jesus. Okay, here comes the end of the song. Do you remember the first part? It was Welcome friends, we're glad you're here. God's great love is always near. And the second part was We will learn and we will grow. Jesus love will come to know. Now comes my favorite part, the end of the song. Listen carefully. Well come friends now sing with me. Shepherd Sam says Come and see. Did you hear something different about this part? When I ended it, I said Come and see just a little bit louder. Okay, let's sing the whole song together. And don't forget to say the last words just a little bit louder. I think we're ready. Here we go. One, two, three. Well come friends, we're glad you're here. God's great love is always near. We will learn and we will grow. Jesus love will come to know. Welcome friends, now sing with me. Shepherd Sam says come and see. It sounded so good. I want to sing it with you again. Welcome friends, we're glad you're here. God's great love is always near. We will learn and we will grow. Jesus love will come to know. Welcome friends, now sing with me. Shepherd Sam says Come and see. You know, our song reminds me of something that happened in the Bible. There was a man named Philip who had a very special friend named Nathaniel. Philip told his friend about Jesus. And when he did, Philip told Nathaniel Come and see. Sometimes the best way to help someone learn about Jesus is simply to invite them to come with us. Maybe that's why those are some of my favorite words. Wait. I think we have another letter from a little girl. Her name is Molly. She lives in Maryland. Let's read the letter. Dear Shepherd Sam, do you have little girls and boys living close to you that come to visit? Well thank you, Molly, for that great question. Yes, I do. I have two very special friends. They are Emma and Ethan. They live on the farm next door. Now, here's something very special about them. They are twins. Well I think I'll introduce them to you, so please come back and meet Emma and Ethan. Thank you for stopping by Shepherd Sam's Farm today. I hope you enjoyed learning our new song. Next time on Shepherd Sam's Farm, we'll meet my special friends Emma and Ethan. Until next time, I'm Shepherd Sam and remember, come and see.
